1932 Austin 7 RN Box Saloon

Here we have a 1932 Austin 7 RN Box Saloon. Over the last few months the car has undergone a sympathetic refurbishment and now has a 12 month MOT.

It has had various new parts including king pins, shock absorber bushes, spring pins and bushes and other bits and pieces. The car has been rewired. Bodily it is very good and only needed the bottom of the pillars repairing. The wings are original. It has had a replacement head lining, the seats are still original and could be used as they are or new owner could get them recovered in own colour choice. Has a sunroof.

It still has the original engine and gearbox but the back axle has been replaced with a D stage at some point in the past.

The speedo doesn’t work but with Beaulieu Autojumble on the way I’m sure a new one can be found fairly easily and I will keep on looking until it is sold.

I have only driven it a few yards for MOT, but you are welcome to come and view and try it out (licence etc permitting). I also have a continuation buff logbook from 1958.

On the whole this is a very useable, solid little car.
